It begins

I have long scorned the idea of becoming a blogger.

After all ... with everything people have going on, who would dedicate a portion of the day to read something written by little old me?

Now, lest you read that previous statement, think, 'Oh, she's got a good point,' and leave, let me hurry to tell you what the purpose of this blog is.

This blog will be a mish-mash. I will post my thoughts and ideas, Bible lessons, lyrics or quotes I find inspiring, and the occasional account of something from my everyday life (provided it isn't too boring). I may also post about community events and such (there's the journalist in me).

I hope this blog may be entertaining, educational, or thought-provoking. To those of you who plan to read it, I appreciate the allocation of your valuable time; I'll try not to waste it.
